    Manorcourt Homecare is the homecare services division of Healthcare Homes Group, specialising in delivering a range of care packages to people who wish to remain in their own homes.

    We are passionate about providing truly person-centred care and support services that are fully tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every person requiring an in-home care package.

    You should be reliable and flexible, as we need to ensure continuity of care to our client.  This need is specific to our client at this current time, as she wishes to engage in social and community activities as required.

    Working for a client who lives with Cerebral Palsy.  You will be required to live with the client on a rotational basis, ideally 3 weeks on / 3 Weeks off , alongside another carer.  You will be supporting with all elements of personal care (washing, dressing and toileting), manual handling and domestic tasks, which will enable her to continue to live independently within her own home.

    Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
    • Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage, priorities and work to deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
    • Ability to work on own initiative
    • Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable but not essential as an opportunity to undertake this course will be available
