Sleeping and Waking Nights Care Assistant

Harlow, and surrounding areas

At Manorcourt Homecare, we are passionate about providing truly person-centred care and support services that are fully tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every person requiring an in-home care package and our night care staff play a vital role to many of our clients. This opportunity is to work 7 days a week between the hours of 10pm to 7am.

The duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Meal preparation
  • Personal hygiene; showering, bathing, washing
  • Helping people get up each morning and go to bed each evening
  • Provide toileting assistance
  • Light domestic duties
  • Attend social calls, book and accompany to appointments
  • Shopping either with or for service users

Person Specification:

  • Display patience and understanding
  • Offer commitment, dedication and flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attendance and time keeping record
  • The ability to develop good and effective relationships internally and externally
  • Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is preferred
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete enhanced DBS.
