Clinical Governance Administrator 

Part Time 18.75 hours per week

Apex, Colchester

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Clinical Governance team at our central office Apex, in Colchester.  The Clinical Governance Administrator will provide administration support for Clinical Governance documentation, support with monthly reporting dashboards and collating Key Clinical Performance Indicator data from the clinical risk management web-based system.

Responsible for:

  • Collating Key Clinical Performance Indicator data from the clinical risk management web-based system for Healthcare Homes and Manorcourt Care registered locations.
  • Supporting the Clinical Governance Coordinator with monthly reporting dashboards
  • Administration of Clinical Governance documentation including policy control, formatting, tagging, archiving, auditing and library/index maintenance.
  • Administration of the Care Management module within Healthcare Homes intranet for all end users to access up to date policies, procedures, guidelines and forms required to deliver safe, effective, caring and well led services.
  • Support the ongoing administration of Healthcare Homes Group clinical risk management system 
  • Maintaining up to date spreadsheets including but not limited to organisational structure changes, local home management changes and, yearly rebuilds.
  • Preparation of Clinical Governance Committee meetings, internal Pre CQC-Inspection visits, new home acquisitions
  • Supporting the Clinical Governance Director and Coordinator with any other administrative tasks

 Person specification

  • Intermediate IT skills
  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Office
  • Able to work with colleagues located remotely and ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Good communication skills, written and oral
  • Proactive approach and able to work professionally under own initiative

Desirable: 

  • Analytical and data management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical governance
  • Knowledge and understanding of information governance/security
  • Previously experience within healthcare or social care
