Health and Safety Advisor

Remote position - covers all homes in the South and West region

£40,000 per annum plus £3k car allowance

Healthcare Homes Group are recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing Estates and Properties team.  This role will cover all homes in the South and West region and ensure that they all adopt outstanding practices in its Health and Safety practices, procedures and training.

About the role:

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will support the Estates Director to review existing services, contracts and processes to increase performance and efficient use of resources; provide health and safety information to the care homes and develop safe systems of work in the care homes.  You will be responsible for arranging regular health and safety audits of all areas of the homes and oversee the actions from these by evaluating the effectiveness.

This role will  cover our homes across Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Kent.

About you:

You will have previous experience in a similar role working across care homes or regulated health care settings; a NEBOSH diploma or degree and be a member of the Institute of Environmental Health or IOSH.  Due to the location of the homes this can include extensive travel and overnight stays - access to your own vehicle will be needed.
