Home Manager – The Chase, Watford, Hertfordshire

Healthcare Homes Group has an existing portfolio comprising of 45 residential and nursing homes, located across East Anglia and the South of England.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our homes and are looking for people who share our passion for providing excellent care and who share our values, respect, compassion and commitment.

Due to the internal progression of the current home manager, we are recruiting for a new Manager.  The Chase Care Centre is registered to provide personal and nursing care for up to 110 residents.  The home is divided over three floors and accommodates people within six separate units, some of which have adapted facilities. The service supports people with complex nursing and residential needs which include supporting young people with brain acquired injuries, people with mental health needs, physical needs and people who are living with dementia.

If you are passionate, focused and committed about the delivery of a high-quality service and you can lead, motivate, and inspire others, then you may be the person we are seeking.

The successful candidate will be a driven and ambitious individual, responsible for the daily management of The Chase and will be accountable for the home’s operations and activities.  They will have a strong commercial acumen and will share our desire for success.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous management experience within a similar size nursing home.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to recognise and develop additional opportunities for the service ensuring a high-quality service is maintained.
  • A proven track record in delivering regulatory compliance.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or working towards or commitment to undertake.
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN (desirable but not essential).
