We have a brand new opportunity to join our Marketing Team as a Marketing and Communications Executive. This role would support care homes and home care branches with targeted marketing and communications campaigns to deliver budgeted occupancy.

Healthcare Homes Group are a recognised provider of high quality care services. Our existing portfolio of care homes comprises of 45 residential and nursing homes, located across East Anglia and the South of England. Duties and responsibilities

  • To develop marketing plans to drive care enquiries and help support recruitment into homes and branches
  • To ensure that individual homes and branches receive regular local media coverage to help build awareness, by being highly proactive in researching media opportunities, proposing subject material and making things happen.
  • To field inbound media enquiries and remain in contact with media during comms episodes.
  • To develop copy for media releases, secure photography, obtain local sign-off and Board sign off, issue to and liaise with local media owners
  • To plan and deliver local and online advertising to maximise enquiry generation
  • To maintain and update promotional collateral, signage, and outdoor advertising
  • To manage and report on budget expenditure and ensure efficiency of spend.
  • To ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all media
  • To support The integration of newly acquired homes into the group, handling local rebranding, adapting local marketing materials and briefing homes on marketing processes


Not less than 3 years experience delivering the external comms agenda in a B2C setting, ideally but not necessarily related to care, and preferably in a multi-site business. May equally be in an agency environment with relevant client experience.

Educated to degree level, or A level if followed by a formal qualification in Marketing or Comms (Institute of Marketing or similar)

Working conditions

Work will be from an office base in Colchester requiring regular contact with leadership teams across different functions. Some travel to homes and branches in the business will be required, with occasional overnight stays.
