    £12.30 per hour

    32 hours per week - shift time 8.30 am - 17.00pm

    Healthcare Homes are recruiting for an Activities Assistant to join our team at The Chase.

    Our Activities team are fundamental to the residents’ sense of wellbeing and social enhancement.  You will ensure the activities schedule in the home plays a key part in ensuring the routines and daily activities they undertake are varied, stimulating and fun. The role really enables you to bring out your creativity, adapting activity programmes that respect individuals needs while also establishing links with the local community to encourage their involvement and increase social interaction.

    Job Requirements:

    • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public engagement, ideally within a care setting, healthcare, hospitality, or community services.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies including content creation, branding, and local outreach.
    • Demonstrate ability to actively manage and grow social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to build an engaging presence for the home.
    • Skilled in photography, video content creation, and storytelling to highlight daily life in the home and promote events.
    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with local organisations, schools, businesses, and community groups to foster partnerships and raise awareness.
    • Comfortable supporting the Home Manager in campaigns, open days, and promotional initiatives to increase visibility and community integration.
    • Creative and proactive in planning, advertising, and executing engaging activities and events for residents that involve the wider community.
    • Strong interpersonal skills – confident in socialising and networking with people from all walks of life.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to represent the home in a professional and positive manner.
    • Self-motivated, energetic, and confident in taking initiative to promote the home across various channels.
    • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about compliance related to consent, safeguarding, and digital content within care environments.
